    1. Juliet asks Friar Lawrence to tell Romeo to pick her up in the Capulet tomb after she drinks a sleeping potion to make it look like she's dead so they could be together. Tell me not, Friar, that thou hear’st of this, Unless thou tell me how I may prevent it. If in thy wisdom thou canst give no help, Do thou but call my resolution wise, And with this knife I’ll help it presently. (shows him a knife) God joined my heart and Romeo’s, thou our hands. And ere this hand, by thee to Romeo sealed, Shall be the label to another deed, Or my true heart with treacherous revolt Turn to another, this shall slay them both. Therefore out of thy long-experienced time, Give me some present counsel, or, behold, 'Twixt my extremes and me this bloody knife Shall play the umpire, arbitrating that Which the commission of thy years and art Could to no issue of true honor bring. Be not so long to speak. I long to die If what thou speak’st speak not of remedy.". I notice that in this quote that she has turned very serious after the death of her cousin Tybalt.

    1) Juliet asks Friar Laurence to come up with a plan or else she would kill herself. This is evident when she says "Tell me not, friar, that thou hearest of this, Unless thou tell me how I may prevent it. If in thy wisdom thou canst give no help, Do thou but call my resolution wise, And with this knife I’ll help it presently." before she says that Paris complements her and she just ignores him.

    2) Friar says that Juliet would fall asleep when she drinks the potion appearing dead. Friar said that Romeo would learn of his plans from Balthazar.

    3) At the start of the scene they are preparing for the wedding by hiring cooks. Juliet talks to her father about how she went to the Friar and she now loves Paris she says this so her father forgives her and she can go on with the plan.

1.Juliet asks Friar lawrence for some sort of plan to get out of marrying Paris. She tells the Friar that if he doesn't help her that she will kill herself“Do thou but call my resolution wise; And with this knife I’ll help it presently.”. Juliet tells paris that she loves him and is very kind to him but secretly that is not the case.

    2. Friar tells juliet that once she takes the potion she will fall into a deep sleep like she will be dead for a while but she will come back alive “Thou shalt continue two-and-forty hours, And then awake as from a pleasant sleep.” Romeo learns this plan when the friar sends letters to him. When juliet awakes from the grave she will meet Romeo and they will escape together.

4 Before juliet drinks the potion she thinks of all bad that might happen such as her fear that she might wake up early with all the dead people. Another fear is that what if the potion doesn't work properly and she might have to marry paris. Lastly she fears that the Friar is actually trying to poison her and she will die when she takes the potion.

    2. Friar Laurence explains to Juliet that when she takes the liquor her body is going to go into a death-like state. “No warmth, no breath shall testify thou livest. The roses in thy lips and cheeks shall fade. To paly ashes, thy eyes' windows fall”. But after 48 hours she'll wake up as if she was just taking a good night’s sleep. For Romeo Friar will send a friend of his to carry a letter of this new plan to him. Then once Romeo arrives and Juliet wakes up from her coma-like state they both will run off together to Mantua.

    4. Before she was going to take the potion and go to bed she started to worry if this might be a trick and Friar is giving Juliet a potion that going to kill her in her sleep. “What is it be a poison which the Friar Subtly hath ministered to have me dead”. She also worries what might happen if this does work but the potion doesn’t go long enough and she wakes up earlier then she was supposed and has to stay there, probably with Tybalt's dead body lying down next to her.

    5. Moving up the wedding might mess up the friar’s plan because they might not be able to get the letter to Romeo and him back to Verona in time to get Juliet. Capulet seems confused and overwhelmed when he heard the news of Juliet. “Death, that hath ta’en her hence to make me wail”. Lady Capulet was very sad when she heard the news. “O woeful time!”. The nurse was completely broken when she found Juliet in her bed. “She’s dead, deceased; she's dead! Alack the day!”. Paris was very shocked when he heard that his future wife was apparently dead the day of their wedding. “Most detestable Death, by thee beguiled”.

    2) Friar Laurence says that when Juliet drink the potion she will fall in a sleep for 48 hours and she will look like she is dead. But he will eventually come back with Romeo when she awakes. Romeo will learn Friar Laurences plan by a man bringing it riding a donkey. Friar Laurence say that they will flee and live a good life away from there problems in there home town.

    3) Juliet tells her father that she doesn't want to marry Paris. After she tells him this everyone turns on Juliet and gets very angry with what she just said. Her mom and Dad say that they will not talk to her and disown her if she doesn't do what they say.

    4) She has many concerns when she drinks this potion. One is that, She will not awake in time and they will actually think that she is dead for ever. Another is, that she will awake to early and she will be in the place with all the other dead bodies. She also thinks that this could be a potion that kills her she has no idea.

    Block F

    Romeo and Juliet
    Violence

What, drawn, and talk of peace! I hate the word, As I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee: Have at thee, coward! Said Tybalt. He provokes the fight between Mercutio and himself in the opening brawl. The fight starts from mochery between servants then to their kinsmen, and then lord Capulet and Montague want to join to no avail.
The fight between Tybalt and Mercutio was more fooling around then them wanting to kill each other. The only reason why Mercuitio died was Romeo faults saying “I died under your arm” and then saying “A plague on both of your houses”. Then Romeo went after Tybalt to tell what he had done. His anger turns into remorse after killing Tybalt running away with his kinsmen.
